Our aftercare and outpatient program provides clients with support, guidance, and continued treatment following the completion of our residential treatment program. The Board of Directors of Chrysalis House are proud to announce the appointment of Kama McKinney as the Executive Director. Established in 1978, Chrysalis House is the oldest and largest licensed substance abuse treatment program in Kentucky devoted to supporting women and their families in recovery from alcohol and other drug abuse. Chrysalis House provides substance use and mental health treatment services for women 18 years of age and older, while allowing their children to live onsite during their mother's program of recovery. We are located in Crownsville, Maryland and serve women from across the state. Chrysalis House believes in collaboration and maintains over seventy contracts or agreements with community partners.

We offer programs for foster-to-adopt, domestic adoptions, and provide other adoption services upon request. Admissions Information Referrals for our program can be made by addictions treatment program, social workers, courts, legal or other service provider advocating for the women seeking services. There is no fee for admission but all new clients will complete a SNAP application for food stamps .
